About: Why I created this website

My Personal Testimony at the bottom of this page

Greetings in Christ Jesus,

I felt uncomfortable walking into a church for the first time, because there was a mystery behind the entry doors. Am I going to be judged or excepted, or looked at as an outcast?

Most people feel the same way about opening a Bible for the first time, its uncharted waters, it’s a mystery to them.

My personal ministry has been handing out promise books as gifts. On the front cover, it says,

"One thousand promises from God’s word."  I also have a bookmark tucked inside the pages.

When I connect with people, I say, I have a gift for you, and most people thank me, looking surprised that I’m giving them a book. Some decline.

Proverbs 16:9

"The mind of a man plans his way, but the Lord shows him what to do."

Romains 10:15

"And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Many young people say to me, I’ve been looking for something like that. They’re searching for truth, not knowing that they’re at the beginning of a journey seeking truth, that can only be found in Jesus.

Hebrews 11:6

“A man cannot please God unless he has faith. Anyone who comes to God must believe that He is. That one must also know that God gives what He promised to the one who keeps on looking for Him.”

I felt that the Holy Spirit was prompting me to do more, and I didn’t understand how. I was giving out as many books as I could while doing my daily tasks.

Then, the Holy Spirit reminded me that seven years early, I built and managed a website. That’s how I could do more!

I am not a seasoned writer, nor theologian. I'm a man that hunts and pecks on my computer keyboard while searching bible verses and referencing my promise book for scripture that supports the narrative and subject matter needed.

I am constantly using spell check, because I spell words how they sound out, instead of how they are written. I like doing the research part, enabling viewers searching for truth, find it where I collectively put information together for an "Ease of use" capability.

It was also helpful for my mom constantly correcting me all of my life for using a wrong word. How could she not correct me, being an editor at a prominent publishing company from New York city. I also searched for synonyms that were easier for me to understand, as well as laymen viewers.

I purchased the domain name, found a website building platform, and moved forward by learning the functions of the platform. They don't come with a "how to" manual, it's all trial and error.

Onward and upward, in Christ Jesus

Jesus declared that He is truth!

There is no one else in this world, but Jesus that made claims to be truth.

John 14:6

Jesus said, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the father except through me."

Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways
submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

The Why Jesus is Truth website was designed and formulated to allow viewers searching for real truth, find it in Jesus Christ.

So, the research was done for you by collectively putting information together, eliminating the frustration of searching throughout the internet.

It's also essential for you to read your own Bible comprehensively, to understand God's full message to us, allowing a deeper insight into God's character and His plan for you and all humanity.

Through prayer, worship, and studying Scripture, the Holy Spirit guides, comforts, and empowers believers in their spiritual journey.

The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in helping individuals understand God's word and how to apply it in our lives.

This emphasizes the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

He is truth that never changes.

Hebrews 13:8

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

You've probably heard from someone,

"But that's your truth."

Truth can't change from person-to-person, it stands like a giant oak tree for all to see.

Hebrews11:6

“A man cannot please God unless he has faith. Anyone who comes to God must believe that He is. That one must also know that God gives what He promised to the one who keeps on looking for Him.”

This is a journey for all of us, developing a deeper relationship with Jesus gives us a purpose in life.

There is so much noise in this world that competes for our attention. We hear, listen to this or listen to that.

Psalm 46:10

The Lord said, "Be still, and know that I am God."

Living a quiet life in this chaotic world can only be found in Jesus.

My Personal Testimony of becoming a Born-Again Christian

Ephesians 1:4-5

“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us for adoption to sonship.”

He knew my name and everything about my entire life to be, from birth to death, before the creation of this world, He adopted us all, to be a family on earth and in heaven with God as our Father. That's why He's saddened when some people choose not to be with Him on earth and in heaven for all eternity. He loves us all.

Matthew 24:40

Two men will be working together in the field; one will be taken, the other left. Two women will be grinding flour at the mill; one will be taken, the other left.”

There is an urgency, not knowing the date and time of Jesus’s return. Once again, the Holy Spirit prompted me to get busy.

Weather it was handing out promise books, building a website or day to day witnessing.

We don’t live in the same world that we used to. It’s mostly corrupt and evil, it seems like there’s no mentors for our youth today, except for Jesus.

John 3:16

“God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life."

I do believe that we’re living in the end times, and everyone has to make a decision if they want to be with Jesus in Heaven, or not. It’s like if we went to the airport expecting to fly to a certain destination, we have to buy a ticket to get there. Jesus is the only way to Heaven.

John 14:6

Jesus declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

This declaratory statement was exclusive to Jesus Christ, who is Truth.

We should have a heart for the lost, especially because this is a chaotic world that lies to us. If you’re searching for real truth, you’ll only find it in Jesus Christ, who declared that “He is truth.”

No one else in this world ever stated that they were truth.

There’s an overwhelming amount of people with their own "What’s in it for me" agendas.

Hebrews 13:5

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

I don’t know how, or why people would choose to live without Jesus in this crazy world.

Matthew 11:28

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Galatians 5:22-23

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

Jeremiah 31:3

"The Lord came to us from far away, saying, “I have loved you with a love that lasts forever. So, I have helped you come to Me with loving-kindness."

When I was nine years old, I laid down in some tall grass at Stanger's field, looking into the sky. I didn’t know I was calling out to the Lord, but I said out loud, are you real God?

Psalm 120:1

“I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer.”

When I was growing up, the only time I spent with God was going to church to sit, stand, and kneel over and over. I was so frustrated with religion. I didn't understand then, but I know now how beneficial it is to have a personal relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

As an older man I didn’t know God personally, I knew of Jesus intellectually in my head, but not in my heart.

Romans 10:9-10

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

Looking back there were numerous things that I did in my life, that I wasn't proud of.  God’s protective hand was still guiding me, keeping me safe. After many episodes of my out-of-control living, He still loved me, in spite of myself.

I met a couple, Bill and Janet. There was something different about them, not in a strange way, in a way that was very appealing to me. I said to them, I’d like to have what you have, relationship-wise.

They told me that they were Born-Again Christians, and they had Jesus in their hearts.

I said to them that’s good for you, completely going over my head about what they just said.

A few weeks later it became clearer to me, I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Totally worn out, I knew I had to change, so I prayed to God for help. I read some bible verses about salvation, and I confessed to Jesus that I was a sinner and that I wanted Him to be my Lord and Savior.

I was so interested in what God was saying that I didn't put my bible down for days. I knew that I became a Born-Again Christian and that my name now was written in the Lambs book of Life. I had peace in my heart that I never had before, it was liberating leaving my old lifestyle.

Psalm 46:10

“Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

There was no Marching band, fireworks, or balloons, my thoughts were of walking with my friends, and then God picked me up and put me back down, now I'm walking in a different direction.

I looked back at all the things that I had done wrong, and I was so ashamed. Yeilding to the Lord literally saved my life. It was a process of God molding me like clay. If He was a mean-spirited Potter, He could’ve scrapped His work and started over, but He didn’t. He loves us and sees value in His creation, that I didn’t see in myself.

I’m glad that the Holy Spirit called me to get busy!

Matthew 24:36

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”
