The Holy Spirit

He is the third person of the trinity, fully God, and equal with God the Father and Jesus Christ.

He lives in every believer's heart as an advocate whom the Father sent to teach us all things and remind us of what He declared in the scriptures.

Romans 10:9

“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 8:26

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. He searches our hearts and knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will.

John 16:13

“As you read the Bible, invite the Holy Spirit to help you understand its meaning and apply it to your life. This can deepen your relationship with both Him and Jesus.”

Be attentive to how the Holy Spirit communicates with you. He may prompt thoughts during prayer or while reading Scripture. Learning to discern His voice is key to knowing Him personally.

Galatians 5:16

“So, I say walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”

Galatians 5:22-23

"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

As you develop a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit, you’ll begin to exhibit the qualities of the fruit of the spirit.

These traits reflect His character and indicates that you're growing a spiritual relationship with Him.
